In the issue, Tim Barker examines global secular stagnation; Penelope Kyritsis and Genevieve LeBaron investigate textile workers’ widespread hunger; Walden Bello charts multilateralism’s declining legitimacy; and Anakwa Dwamena analyzes the limits of East Africa’s sweatshops as springboards for industrialization.
