Erin Simmons is an MA student in anthropology at the New School for Social Research. Her research interests include the materialities of data, data visualization, and quantitative methods in the international development sector. For her work at the Heilbroner Center Erin focuses specifically on the role of data visualization in complex poverty indicators. Erin holds a BA in archaeology and anthropology from the University of Oxford, and an MSc in international development and humanitarian emergencies from the London School of Economics.
