Leyi Chen

Leyi Chen is a graduate student at the Milano School pursuing an M.S. in Environmental Policy and Sustainability Management. She is interested in using data visualization and GIS to increase the accessibility of environment-related information beyond the walls of academia. She is also interning in the U.S. Forest Service where she is helping create a GIS toolkit for Indigenous cultural and spatial data. Leyi serves as Student Research Assistant on the “Climate, Capitalism and Collective Need” project where she assists with project research and creates graphics, data visuals, and presentations.
