Please congratulate our colleague Aaron Jakes on co-organizing the upcoming conference, “Revising the Geography of Modern World Histories,” at the University of York.
The conference will feature several keynote speakers, including: Manu Goswani (NYU), Paul A. Kramer (Vanderbilt), Lara Putnam (University of Pittsburgh), and Andrew Zimmerman (George Washington University). The conference is sponsored by the British Academy, the York Centre for the Americas, YuFund, the Centre for Modern Studies, and York’s Department of History.
The event will take place between February 9th and 10th, 2018, and the University of York: Heslington Campus/King’s Manor.
