The Museum of Capitalism arrived in New York City in 2019, as part of a year-long collaboration between the artist collective FICTILIS and New School students and faculty. Installed at the Sheila C. Johnson Center at the Parsons School of Design, the Museum of Capitalism was supported by the Emily Hall Tremaine Foundation, the Heilbroner Center for Capitalism Studies, Eugene Lang College for Liberal Arts at the New School, and the New School Provost’s Office.
